Österreich nimmt weitere 1.000 Vertriebene auf


Seit drei Jahren tobt der blutige Bürgerkrieg in Syrien, die Kämpfe haben bisher mindestens 150.000 Todesopfer gefordert, mehr als neun Millionen Menschen sind auf der Flucht - rund 2,7 Millionen Menschen haben das Land bereits verlassen, den weitaus größeren Teil machen aber Binnenvertriebene in Syrien selbst aus. Österreich wird nun zusätzlich zu bereits zugesagten 500 Flüchtlingen weitere 1.000 Personen aus dem Krisengebiet aufnehmen.
