SAVE THE DATE! Brussels November 9th 2014 - "Euro-crisis, Ukraine, TTIP: What's left of our democracy/ies? How to rebuild?" - N'Platform second trans-European meeting of Small and Medium sized political parties
After our meeting in Berlin last July, we decided to gather the Small and Medium Political Parties again in Brussels.
Our network is meeting in Brussels from November 6th until November 9th for a tribute to the deceased founder of the different organizations, Franck Biancheri: N’Platform, Euroland Seminar, AAFB: Friends of Franck Biancheri meetings at the same place: Aloft Hotel Brussels Schuman - Place Jean Rey · Brussels B-1040 (Belgium).
Different days, different formats, different topics: workshops, debates, conferences conducted under the generic theme "1989-2014: From one wall to the other" will tackle during 4 days the issues of democracy in Europe addressing hot questions like CETA/TTIP, Ukraine, Euro-crisis, Euroland...
The N’platform members will first meet for an online discussion in October so they can debate on the hot topics that will be discussed during the Brussels event(s). ("Euro-crisis, Ukraine, TTIP - What's left of our democracy/ies ? How to rebuild ?", proposal of a common statement of the N'Platform partners against free trade agreements with Canada (CETA) and the United States (TTIP) etc). It will take place through the interactive online FEFAP platform.
On November 9th, we will all meet in Brussels for a 5 hours brainstorming meeting and debates.
Of course you are cordially invited to join our other events, such as the Euroland seminar on November 6th, the public conference on November 8th and our reception in the evening.
We are currently working on the redaction of a questionnaire on TTIP/CETA that will be sent to you with an official invitation for Brussels: more details to come very soon, but check your agenda! Small and medium parties are the heart of European’s political innovation, together we can make the difference.
